On January 15th EYDR, project partners gathered online to discuss the implementation of the Digital Democracy Workshop Series.
The meeting was led by Jesmina Sengla, project Coordinator at SCiDEV. She provided a short update on the progress of the project and thanked the partners for their prompt inputs in the reporting process throughout November-December 2024.
The progress update was followed up by SCiDEV’s proposal of organizing the Digital Democracy Workshop Series. The proposal consisted of the implementation of 3 workshops throughout February 2025 where the participants will learn more on topics such as digital citizenship, cyber security, social media and AI.
SCiDEV also suggested a unified procedure for selecting the participants in the study visit in Belgrade and Oviedo. More specifically, it was suggested that the selection to be through a quizz prepared by the trainers which will be implemented by the end of each training session.
The partners welcomed the overall proposal and provided additional input on the dates proposed, suggesting specific date revisions to ensure their availability to deliver the training session.
The meeting ended on a positive note, and it was unanimously decided that the Lauch of Youth Digital Democracy Accelerator Programme to be organized on 22.01.2025.
