On May 29, 2024, SCiDEV as the lead of the project “Youth Participation in Digital Democracy: From Digital Skills to Digital Rights of Youth with Fewer Opportunities in the Western Balkans” (EYDR), funded by the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the Field of Youth Programme, undertook the coordination of the online meeting for Task D2.2 Peer to peer learning and research design. Researchers from Albania (SCiDEV, ESN, CCIS, YNA) and researchers from Montenegro (UZOR) were formally notified via email on May 9, with a follow-up reminder sent on May 15.
During the online session, SCiDEV facilitated the meeting, distributing the PowerPoint presentation previously prepared by SHARE and BCHR to the attending researchers. SHARE and BCHR were responsible for conducting the training and addressing any questions from the researchers concerning the methodology.
The workshop by BCHR and SHARE aimed to train researchers from Albania and Montenegro on research design, mapping tools, and report structure and publication. Key topics covered during the presentations encompassed diverse data collection methods such as survey, focus groups, interviews with youth leaders and experts, and the application of case studies.
The presentation and methodology have been created to support researchers in carrying out specific tasks outlined in WP2, such as developing survey, conducting interviews, case studies and organizing focus groups. These documents are intended to facilitate and clarify the execution of each researcher`s tasks, aiming to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with the project`s objectives and milestones.
The meeting ended with positive feedback. After the meeting concluded, SCiDEV promptly sent the PowerPoint presentation to participants via email.
